QRA
Ireland - Round 4 of the ACU MMX British Quad Championship
Round Four
of this years CCM MMX ACU Quad Championship heads across the Irish
sea to Desert Martin (BT45 5QW is the post code) and we are using
the full GP track.
Val Bell and
the team from Quad Racing Ireland always put maximum effort in
to these events and support riders are very welcome at this Quad
only round. Entry form attached for support riders.
This year
is different to previous years as we have done away with the Friday
night round. Racing will only be on Saturday 9th June and will
be action packed on this spectacular circuit. Special ferry deals
via our good friends at Stenaline who have supported our trips
across every year are doing more great deals.
Log onto www.stenaline.co.uk/event
and quote special code of EV466.

To make the
journey complete on Sunday 10th June, John Mangan of the Southern
Quad club, Eire are putting on a ‘big’ event for everyone.
It is not a British championship round, but as the Quad scene
has been growing over there, it would be good to see as many of
you as possible, come and support this event at Timahoe, County
Laois.
There will
be a BBQ with marqee on Saturday night with music. The track is
1.8 km long, 9 metres minimum width all the way round with berms
on most corners with a series of waves, table tops, step ups,
mixed terrain sand and hard pack.
The track
has been much improved since they opened in April this year having
spent some €26,000.00 building what they hope will go on
to be a super track. It will be an open meeting with the Pro Class
being run over two 25 minute plus 2 lap races, with at present
a prize fund of €3000.
